Association WHAT IS? consists of artists and architects that strengthen arts education in Catalonia and around the world. We work and speak from knowledge and daily practice of art.
see two priorities that can defend PECB:
1 - Increase the confidence of society in its educational system.
Education is like health ... pendre't you an aspirin, but if you do not want to heal care. Catalan society believes firmly in its educational system.
2 - Improve the education of the arts for children and young people.
The education of the arts must think and work in the long term. We imagine Catalonia in 2050 ... where all children and young people studying arts in schools every day, increasing their perception of the world and shaping their own voice.
In Catalonia there are 2050 schools of the arts for children and youth in all counties. Every child who wants to leave the normal school was public school of the arts and studied painting, sculpture, dance, music, theater, photography, film, architecture, etc ... programs with good teachers and specialists.
The child can study art in Catalonia in 2050 in 2011 as easily as he could play football, basketball, handball, judo ... In Catalonia in 1900 few people sports ... everyone practiced the art in 2100 and better expresses their feelings and emotions.
Every society decides what it wants to be, and builds itself with facts.

The 2050 Catalunya child can study art in 2011 as easily as he could play soccer, basketball, handball, judo ... few people in Catalunya 1900 ... in 2100 played sports all art practice and express your feelings and emotions.
