1) Big Masbah / Collective Action and Property building made of stones hollowed by the wind and plastic rope / Ø 90cm. / Jordan, 2008.
The Masbah , rosary is a kind of typical of Arab cultures and has 33 for counting the 99 names of Allah Masbah However is also used by Jews, Turks (tespeh) , Greek (Komboloi) and Armenians among others, not as religious object but as a form of entertainment by the hand and comes from the mind. In this case the Big Masbah (Grand Masbah) was a work I did at the residence Shatana International Artists Workshop 2008 in Jordan, inviting people to choose from a collection of stones hollowed by the wind near the town of Shatana and with it build this or URPOSE large, rustic and heavy that its scale has now lost function.
