Eight Paralympic athletes receive scholarships for the master brand name of sports journalism

Adecco Foundation and the Community of Madrid, through the Madrid Olympic Foundation, today awarded grants to several elite athletes of Olympic and Paralympic for the completion of the Master Brand in Sports Journalism and Communication, organized by the Unidad Editorial and Universidad San Pablo CEU.

The event was attended by the president of the Community of Madrid, Esperanza Aguirre, Vice President and Minister of Culture and Sport, Ignacio González, the president of the English Olympic Committee Alejandro Blanco, the vice president of the English Paralympic Committee, Justo Reinares, and the director of Marca, Eduardo Inda, among others.

aid aims to give athletes and former athletes in their academic development, to promote further integration into the labor market, outside of sports.

In total, eight have been Paralympians who have agreed to these scholarships, which cover the full amount of tuition: the skier Carme Garcia, Marta Arce judoka, cyclist and swimmer Roberto Alcaide Juan Diego Gil, Daniel Llambrich, Esther Morales, Alejandro Sanchez and Xavier Torres.

Collaboration Adecco Foundation, the Community of Madrid and the English Paralympic Committee has been what has made these scholarships possible. In the first case, the foundation has managed the fund from companies Orange, Pfizer, Cisco, and alternately, and their scholarships are for athletes outside Madrid (Carmen García, Daniel Llambrich, Esther Morales, Alejandro Torres Sanchez and Xavier ) who, being a master on-line you can do from their places of residence.
